Closter, New Jersey – The Promotion In Motion Companies, Inc., Manufacturers and Marketers of America’s Favorite Candies® is debuting new larger single serve sizes of its popular BUDDY BEARS® Gummi Bears, SOUR JACKS® Sour Candy, NUCLEAR SQWORMS® Sour Neon Gummi Worms, SUN*MAID® Chocolate Covered Raisins, and FISHER® Chocolate Covered Peanuts at ALL CANDY EXPO, May 13-15, 2003 at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL.
“Consumers want bigger sizes and value and our new larger single serve sizes deliver both size and value” according to Michael Rosenberg, President & CEO of The Promotion In Motion Companies, Inc. “We’re giving the consumer between 25% and 33% more candy. We increased the size of our sugar candy singles from 1.5 oz. to 2.0 oz. and our chocolate candy singles from 1.4 to 1.75 oz. This change reflects increased consumer consumption and trends in the industry overall.”
The new larger singles come in cases of 6 24 count display boxes with high impact graphics designed to drive impulse purchases. The suggested retail price of the single serve candies is $.55 to $.75.
