Originally established in the late 1800’s by the Polaner Family, our company known
today as Farmer’s Choice Food Brands, makes unrivaled, world class quality
farm products.

Specific varieties of the finest fruit crops are carefully selected to meet our stringent
quality standards, then picked, cleaned, pitted and immediately frozen, ensuring
that all fruits going into our kettles are virtually as fresh when being cooked as when
first picked. Only the finest of the crop goes into the products we make.

Our delicate cooking process begins with the choice selected fruits being placed in
closed stainless cooking kettles. Here we combine old fashioned craftsmanship with
today’s modern technology, as the temperature and cooking process are partially
regulated by state of the art computers designed to ensure precise consistency in batch
after batch of our exceptional products.

And that process especially results from our “Essence Recovery System”, similar to a
“still”, which traps the aroma laden steam of the fruit cooking inside our tightly closed
kettles. This highly concentrated essence is then mixed into each batch of our
extraordinary quality jams, jellies, preserves and spreadable fruits, immediately before
finally filling the jars with our finished product.

The result of our age old, time tested process is unmatched flavor, texture and aroma
crafted into every jar we make.... and which has made our preserves a favorite of
generation upon generation of consumers, for over 100 years!!
